Writer and Grief Educator
Hannah Rumsey is a writer, podcaster, and certified Grief Educator based in Chicago. Since the death of her beloved friend Lauren in 2015, she hasn't been able to stop writing about it -- starting with her one woman show "42 Days of Summer" to her memoir-in-progress "L is for Lauren". In 2023 she founded Friends Missing Friends, a podcast and community that offers peer-support friend-loss grief groups. Her mission is to speak out about how friend-loss is a disenfranchised grief, and nurture a community where friend-loss grievers feel seen and understood.
