After fifteen years on TV and FM, Peter is soon headed back into the pastoral ministry in New England. His two near-death experiences, and a lifetime of yoga, meditation and prayer practice, and his practical life as a minister for eighteen years, sets him apart among his peers. He is a mystic, a husband, a dad, and grandpa. Peter races as crew on sailboats, read science and literature, occasionally swears, and always seeks God. He says that he is not religious but that his Boss is God.

Living in Boothbay Harbor, Peter is a husband, father, grandfather, a two-time near-death experiencer, storyteller, ordained pastor, writer, best-selling book author, entrepreneur, public speaker, tv talent, producer, and more. He earned his Master of Divinity at Yale University with a focus on the classics of western mysticism.
Peter served eighteen years as a Congregational community minister in the United Church of Christ, primarily along the coast of Maine. For fifteen years (2003-2018), Peter broadcasted ( a daily two-minute spot on two NBC TV stations with Daily Devotions (brand) just before the morning’s weather. Through this program, he reached thirty million viewers annually on TV (Nielsen Ratings) and uncounted listeners on FM and AM across Maine and New Hampshire, and around the nation.
Peter has had two Near-Death Experiences. His first "death" occurred in 1980 from hypothermia while ice climbing in Banff Provincial Park in Canada. He died again from a heart attack in 2015.
