This song was born from a conversation that many of us—especially those walking a spiritual path—wrestle with: Should we tune out the noise of the world to protect our peace? Or lean in, take action, and try to make a difference?

The title echoes a powerful line from T.S. Eliot’s Ash Wednesday:
“Teach us to care and not to care.”
And it reflects Jesus' timeless teaching to be in the world, but not of it.

It’s a paradox that all spiritual seekers eventually face: how do we remain compassionate without becoming consumed? How do we stay present without losing ourselves in the pain?

This song is my response. A reminder that we are divine beings having a human experience, and the dance of life asks us to both hold on—and let go.

🕊️ May it inspire you to stay grounded in grace while reaching for justice, joy, and peace.
